Hi all,
I’m in the early stages of apartment hunting and a few places near Wilson and Keele have caught my eye. Before I dive in too deep, I thought it’d be smart to hear from people who actually know what it’s like to live around there.
I’m trying to get a sense of how easy it is to get around—especially if you’re commuting downtown or heading up toward York University. Is transit reliable, or am I looking at long waits and packed buses?
Would also love to know about day-to-day stuff. Are there solid grocery options nearby? Any parks or good food spots worth checking out? I’m big on takeout, so if there’s a local favorite, I’m all ears.
Mostly though, I’m wondering about the feel of the neighborhood. Is it more laid-back and family-oriented, or is there a good mix of people and energy?
If you’ve spent time in the area or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate your two cents. Any tips, good or bad, would be super helpful. And if by chance you’ve heard of any decent rentals that aren’t crazy expensive, feel free to drop a lead.
Thanks so much for the help! Always appreciate honest advice from people who’ve been there.
