Hi all, I’m in the early stages of apartment hunting and a few places near Wilson and Keele have caught my eye. Before I dive in too deep, I thought it’d be smart to hear from people who actually know what it’s like to live around there. I’m trying to get a sense of how easy it is to get around—especially if you’re commuting downtown or heading up toward York University. Is transit reliable, or am I looking at long waits and packed buses? Would also love to know about day-to-day stuff. Are there solid grocery options nearby? Any parks or good food spots worth checking out? I’m big on takeout, so if there’s a local favorite, I’m all ears. Mostly though, I’m wondering about the feel of the neighborhood. Is it more laid-back and family-oriented, or is there a good mix of people and energy? If you’ve spent time in the area or know someone who has, I’d really appreciate your two cents.
